Regulations for the Nuclear Fuels Operational Safety Management Article 14
To discard nuclear fuel, the operator shall submit an application form stating the following matters to the competent authority for approval prior to discarding:1. Category, quantity, properties and original purpose.2. Reason for discarding.3. Other matters specified by the competent authority by public notice.Nuclear fuel approved for discarding shall be managed in accordance with the related regulations governing radioactive waste.

核子燃料之廢棄，經營者應填具申請書，載明下列事項，報請主管機關許可後，始得為之：
一、種類、數量、性質及原用途。
二、廢棄原因。
三、其他經主管機關公告之事項。
許可廢棄之核子燃料，應依放射性廢棄物之相關規定辦理。
