Nuclear Emergency Response Act Article 1
PurposeParagraph 1.1The purpose of this Act is to establish an emergency response system in the event of a nuclear accident, and to strengthen the emergency response functions so as to ensure the safety and health of the public and to protect their property.Paragraph 1.2The emergency response for nuclear accidents shall be governed by this Act; matters not provided for in this Act shall be governed by the provision of the Disaster Prevention and Protection Act and other relevant laws.

為健全核子事故緊急應變體制，強化緊急應變功能，以確保人民生命、身體及財產之安全，特制定本法。
