Regulations on Treatment and Storage of Radioactive Waste and Safety Management of the Facilities Article 2
The terms used in this Regulations are defined as follows:1.Thermal treatment of radioactive waste: using high temperature methods such as incineration and melting to treat the radioactive waste.2.Contaniners: the vessels used to store or dispose of the radioactive waste.3.Maintenance: the operations such as removal of rust, repainting, repacking, and re-solidifying in case of rust and erosion of the radioactive waste containers or deterioration of radioactive waste.4.Stabilization treatment: the treatment to make radioactive waste reach condition stabilizing in physical state and chemical properties.

本規則用詞定義如下：
一、放射性廢棄物熱處理：指以焚化或熔融等高溫方法處理放射性廢棄物。
二、盛裝容器：指用於貯存或處置放射性廢棄物之容器。
三、檢整：指裝有放射性廢棄物之盛裝容器鏽蝕或放射性廢棄物體劣化，實施除鏽補漆、重新包裝或重新固化包裝之作業。
四、安定化處理：使放射性廢棄物達到物理狀態及化學性質均穩定之處理。
一、放射性廢棄物熱處理：指以焚化或熔融等高溫方法處理放射性廢棄物。
二、盛裝容器：指用於貯存或處置放射性廢棄物之容器。
三、檢整：指裝有放射性廢棄物之盛裝容器鏽蝕或放射性廢棄物體劣化，實施除鏽補漆、重新包裝或重新固化包裝之作業。
