Administrative Regulations for Radioactive Material and Equipment Capable of Producing Ionizing Radiation and Associated Practice Article 45
Paragraph 45.1Applicants who apply for a lease permission for radioactive material or equipment capable of producing ionizing radiation shall possess one of the following qualifications:1.government agency (institution);2.university, college or academic research institute;3.company or other juridical person;4.a medical institution, medical care radiological clinic or medical examination clinic;5.a veterinary medical institution; or6.other qualifications as approved by the competent authority.Paragraph 45.2For the application for a lease referred to in the preceding paragraph, the following criteria shall be met:1.the lessee or the borrower has qualified operating personnel or the personnel are provided by the lessor or the lender;2.the applicant possesses an appropriate workplace or storage area; and3.radioactive material or equipment capable of producing ionizing radiation shall be mobile, cabinet-mounted, vehicle-mounted or the radioactive material used for calibration purposes.Paragraph 45.3In cases where the vehicle-mounted equipment capable of producing ionizing radiation referred to in subparagraph 3 of the previous paragraph is for medical purposes, the requirement to apply for a lease permission may be waived upon announcement by the competent authority.

申請放射性物質或可發生游離輻射設備之租借許可者，應符合下列資格之一：
一、政府機關（構）。
二、大專校院或學術研究機構。
三、公司或其他法人。
四、醫療院所、醫事放射所或醫事檢驗所。
五、獸醫院所。
六、其他經主管機關核准者。
前項申請租借者，應符合下列條件：
一、承租人或借用人需具合格操作人員或由出借人或貸與人提供。
二、具適當使用場所或存放場所。
三、放射性物質或可發生游離輻射設備需為移動型、櫃型、車載型或供校正用之放射性物質。
前項第三款屬醫療用途之車載型可發生游離輻射設備者，得經主管機關公告免申請租借許可。
