The Regulation Governing the Handling of Investigation Procedures for Railway Occurrence Article 4
Upon receipt of any report, where necessary, the TTSB may designate an on-scene investigator to lead an on-scene team to the site of the occurrence. The public/private operators, the railway bureau, the local government, the local fire department, the local police department, and other relevant authority (agency) shall assist the on-scene investigator as necessary.
