The Regulation Governing the Handling of Investigation Procedures for Civil and Public Aircraft Occurrence Article 26
Where the reporting, determination, on-scene operations, interviews, investigation, and release of investigation reports relating to a major aviation occurrence involves international elements and is beyond the purview of these Regulations, the TTSB may consult the standards, recommendations, methods or procedures in international conventions and their annexes to supplement these Regulations with enacting Directions.
