The Regulation Governing the Handling of Investigation Procedures for Civil and Public Aircraft Occurrence Article 11
In the event of a major aviation occurrence, the local government, the airport terminal operator, the CAA, the TIPC, the MPB or the coast guard authority where the occurrence occurred shall provide spaces for the operations of the investigation command post, temporary wreckage storage, as well as communication and office equipment.The TTSB may request the local government and law enforcement to take necessary security and precautionary measures on-site so as to prevent the wreckage or the hazardous materials on board from endangering the public and to preserve the integrity of the scene.

重大飛航事故發生後，事故地區之地方政府、航空站經營人、民航局、港務公司、航港局或海岸巡防機關應提供調查指揮中心作業及航空器殘骸暫存所需場地、通信及辦公設備。
運安會得協請地方政府及各警察機關對事故地區執行必要之安全維護及戒護措施，避免事故航空器之殘骸或所裝載之危險物品危及民眾安全，並防止現場遭人為破壞。
