For an applicant that has passed the application document review of the competent authority in accordance with the provisions of the preceding article, the competent authority shall form an assessment team to conduct an on-site assessment; for the applicant that fails to comply with the requirements after the on-site assessment, the competent authority shall list the items of non-compliance and notify it to undertake improvements within a prescribed period of time. The applicant shall complete the improvement within the period notified and submit an improvement report. If the improvement is not completed by the deadline, the application shall be rejected.The improvement period prescribed in the preceding paragraph shall be a maximum of three months.The assessment team prescribed in Paragraph 1 shall consist of one convener, one deputy convener and three to five assessment members, and their terms of office shall all be one year.The assessment members shall be unpaid positions. However, attendance fees and transportation expenses may be provided according to regulations.
