Regulations Governing Foreign Exchange Business of Insurance Enterprises Article 8
The Bank may reject an insurance enterprise's application for foreign exchange business in the event of any of the following: 1.Qualifications of the applicant do not comply with the regulations prescribed in Article 5; 2.The applicant has seriously violated the provisions of these Regulations or other relevant foreign exchange regulations or has failed to improve within the period specified by the Bank in the past year; 3.There is evidence indicating that the applicant may hinder sound operation of the business, or that the applicant is unable to meet financial policy requirements.

保險業申請許可辦理外匯業務，經審查有下列情形之一者，本行得駁回其申請：
一、申請資格不符第五條規定。
二、最近一年有違反本辦法或其他外匯相關規定且情節重大，或經本行限期改正，屆期仍未改善者。
三、其他事實足認為有礙業務健全經營或未能符合金融政策要求之虞者。
