Regulations on Civil Servants Training and Development in the Executive Yuan and Subordinate Agencies and Schools Article 8
Civil Servants that are selected for Advanced Study abroad are assisted with their Advanced Study expenses during their Advanced Study period, determined by the sponsoring agency in accordance with the relevant Central Agency (included business establishment) guidelines.Subsidies for the expenses of Civil Servants who are selected for full-time or part-time domestic learning in response to key national policies shall undergo approval by the Executive Yuan during their Advanced Study period.The expenses for the approved Advanced Study period for Civil Servants are a maximum of NT$20,000 per person per semester. Each agency/school shall have strict regulations based on the actual budgetary circumstances. However, this shall not apply to those who are selected to study in response to key national policies and have been approved by the Executive Yuan.

選送國外全時進修之公務人員，於核定進修期間，其進修費用，依中央各機關（含事業機構）派赴國外進修、研究、實習人員補助項目及數額表規定，予以補助。
因應國家重大政策需要，選送國內全時或部分辦公時間進修之公務人員，於核定進修期間，其進修費用之補助，應經行政院專案核准。
公餘進修之公務人員，於核定進修期間，其進修費用，每學期每人最高補助新臺幣二萬元。
各機關學校並得視預算經費狀況，從嚴規定。
但因應國家重大政策需要選送，並經行政院專案核准者，不在此限。
