Regulations Governing Higher Education Subsidies, Living Allowances and Awards for Veterans Article 4
To apply for the educational assistance, living allowances or subsidies referred to in the preceding article, applicants shall submit an application form and formal academic record; in addition, on-the-job applicants who apply for miscellaneous fee grants should provide an employment certificate to the Veterans Affairs Council, (hereinafter referred to as “VAC”).Applicants who are not addressed in accordance with the above regulation shall be notified by VAC within a specified period of time when the materials are available to applicants. Materials not available to applicants or applicants who make supplements after the specified time will be rejected.

退除役官兵申請前條就學補助、生活津貼或獎勵者，應填具申請表一份，檢附正式學籍有關資料證件；其申請學雜費補助且為有職業者，並應檢附在職相關證明，向國軍退除役官兵輔導委員會（以下簡稱輔導會）申請核發之。
未依前項規定檢齊文件，其能補正者，輔導會應通知申請人限期補正，不能補正或屆期未補正者，逕行駁回。
