Enforcement Rules of the Overseas Compatriot Identity Certification Act Article 7
“Legally residing in the place of residence overseas for ten consecutive years and legally employed in the place of residence overseas for at least four years” referred to in Subparagraph 3, Paragraph 1, Article 4 of the Act, is recognized based on the applicant’s legal residence status for a continuous period of ten years in one or more countries or regions, and the applicant’s legal work residence status within the same place of residence overseas in the last four years.

本條例第四條第一項第三款所定在國外合法連續居留十年並在僑居地合法工作居留四年以上，係以取得不限單一國家或地區之合法居留資格連續十年，且最近四年取得同一僑居地之合法工作居留資格認定之。
