Organization Act of the Overseas Community Affairs Council, R.O.C. (TAIWAN) Article 2
OCAC shall be in charge of the following matters:1.Planning and implementing, assisting and providing liaison services for educational and economic affairs of overseas compatriots;2.Handling, implementing, assisting and providing liaison services for projects of overseas compatriot groups, youths and students;3.Protecting rights of overseas compatriots and providing certification services;4.Collecting information and distributing news related to overseas community;5.Handling of all the other matters related to overseas community affairs.

本會掌理下列事項：
一、僑民教育與經濟事務之規劃、辦理、輔導及聯繫。
二、僑團、僑社、僑生與海外華裔青年事務之規劃、辦理、輔導及聯繫。
三、僑民權益之維護及身分證明之核發。
四、僑務資訊之蒐集及僑情之報導。
五、其他有關僑務工作事項。
