Regulations on Marine Environment Monitoring and Monitoring Station Installation Article 2
Marine environment water quality monitoring stations shall be installed at the following locations:1. The mouths of primary and secondary rivers.2. Harbors, lagoons.3. The areas designated in Paragraph 1, Article 18 of this Act.4. The marine environment which may be affected by the behaviors stipulated in Paragraph 1, Article 19 of this Act.5. Marine water quality background monitoring points.6. Other locations as designated by the central competent authority.

海域環境水質監測站應擇定於下列地點設置：
一、主、次要河川入海口。
二、港灣、潟湖。
三、本法第十八條第一項所定之區域。
四、從事本法第十九條第一項各款行為可能影響之海域。
五、一般海域水質之背景點。
六、其他經中央主管機關指定之位置。
