Regulations Governing the Discharge of Oil, Wastewater or Sewage Into the Sea From Maritime Projects Article 4
When the central competent authority receives an application for an oil and wastewater or sewage discharge, it shall complete its documentary review within two months; when necessary, may be extended for another two months, and only once.The application documents in the forgoing paragraph demonstrates failure to comply with these regulations or incomplete content, the central competent authority shall notify the applicant to make corrections within a limited time period. the number of days for making corrections shall not be calculated within the review period, any applications that have not been corrected by the deadline shall be rejected.The central competent authority may, when necessary, consult with the relevant industry competent.

中央主管機關受理油、廢（污）水排放申請，應於二個月內完成審查。
必要時得延長二個月，並以一次為限。
前項申請文件經審查不合本辦法之規定或內容有欠缺者，應通知限期補正，補正日數不算入前項審查期限內；屆期未補正者應予駁回。
