Marine Pollution Control Act Article 48

Those who violate Article 31, Paragraph 2 or Article 32 shall be fined according to the following amount based on the size of the ship and may be ordered to make improvements within a limited time period. Those who fail to make improvements by the deadline may be fined per violation. In severe circumstances, orders may be issued for the suspension of work.1. Ships with a gross tonnage of over 400 tons and oil tankers or chemical tankers with a gross tonnage of over 150 tons: NT$1 million to NT$30 million.2. Ships that do not reach the scale of the preceding subparagraph: NT$300,000 to NT$3 million.
