Ocean Basic Act Article 5
The government shall respect the principles of history, sovereignty, sovereign rights, and jurisdiction, and actively participate in regional and international cooperation related to marine affairs, maintaining, developing and sustainably sharing marine resources on the basis of peace, reciprocity, and ensuring our national marine rights and interests.
