Regulations Governing Permission of Insurance Business Transactions and Investment Between the Taiwan Area and the Mainland Area Article 44
Before a Mainland-area insurance enterprise or Mainland-funded insurance enterprise (with equity investment in Taiwan Area) elect or appoint a director of the invested insurance enterprise in Taiwan Area, the relevant evidentiary information and documents shall be submitted to the Competent Authority for approval.If deemed necessary, the Competent Authority may order the Mainland-area insurance enterprise or Mainland-funded insurance enterprise to provide necessary information and documents or assign a person to the Competent Authority to answer questions within a specified time period.

大陸地區保險業或陸資保險業指派擔任被投資臺灣地區保險業之董事，應於選任前，檢具相關之證明資料、文件，報經主管機關許可。
主管機關於必要時，得令大陸地區保險業或陸資保險業於期限內提出必要之資料、文件或指定人員前來說明。
