After receiving the claim form, the insurer shall stamp on the form, date it, and issue a receipt to the applicant.The insurer shall verify the coverage in accordance with the provisions in the insurance contract. If all or part of the cause of accident is obviously not covered, the insurer shall reply to the applicant and specify the reason in writing.

保險人於接到理賠申請書後，應於理賠申請書上加蓋收件章，載明收件日期，並製作收執交與申請人。
