Regulations Governing Offshore Insurance Branches Article 12
An offshore insurance branch that engages in offshore insurance business shall undertake risk retention as well as ceded and assumed reinsurance in accordance with the Regulations Governing Insurance Enterprises Engaging in Operating Reinsurance and Other Risk Spreading Mechanisms and relevant rules. However Paragraph 2, Article 9 and Articles 10 to 12 of the aforementioned Regulations do not apply to an offshore insurance branch.

國際保險業務分公司經營國際保險業務，辦理風險自留及再保險之分出、分入，應依保險業辦理再保險分出分入及其他危險分散機制管理辦法及相關規定辦理。
