After obtaining registration of permission with the competent authority, broker companies and banks shall join the brokerage association and independent brokers shall join the brokers association.An independent broker, a broker company and a bank who has not joined the brokerage association or brokers association and obtained a membership certificate in accordance with the preceding paragraph may not apply for a practice license to operate or practice in business.

個人執業經紀人、經紀人公司及銀行經主管機關許可登記後，經紀人公司及銀行應加入經紀人商業同業公會，個人執業經紀人應加入經紀人公會。
個人執業經紀人、經紀人公司及銀行非依前項規定加入經紀人公會或經紀人商業同業公會，領有會員證，不得申領執業證照執行或經營業務。
