Negotiable Instruments Act Article 67
If a bill is payable at a fixed period after sight, the maturity date shall be determined by the date of acceptance or the date of protest made, as the case may be.If acceptance of a bill is refused and a protest is not made, the date of maturity shall be the last day of the time limit for presentment for acceptance under Article 45.

見票後定期付款之匯票，依承兌日或拒絕承兌證書作成日，計算到期日。
匯票經拒絕承兌而未作成拒絕承兌證書者，依第四十五條所規定承兌提示期限之末日，計算到期日。
