Negotiable Instruments Act Article 55
If an acceptor for honor intervenes without a prior procuration from the party for whose honor the acceptance is made, they shall notify the person of the fact within 4 days after the intervention.In case the acceptor for honor fails to give the notice referred to in the preceding paragraph, they shall be liable for damages.

參加人非受被參加人之委託而為參加者，應於參加後四日內，將參加事由通知被參加人。
