Negotiable Instruments Act Article 53
When a referee in case of need is designated on a bill, if the holder is entitled to exercise their right of recourse before the date of maturity, they may request the referee in case of need to intervene and accept the bill for honor.Any person, except for a referee in case of need or a person already liable for the bill, may, with the consent of the holder, intervene and accept it for the honor of any of the persons liable for the bill.

執票人於到期日前得行使追索權時，匯票上指定有預備付款人者，得請求其為參加承兌。
除預備付款人與票據債務人外，不問何人，經執票人同意，得以票據債務人中之一人為被參加人，而為參加承兌。
