Act for the Establishment and Administration of the Financial Restructuring Fund Article 10
The Fund may entrust CDIC to handle a distressed financial institution in accordance with the following methods:(1) Paying off the debts of the financial institution and assuming its assets.(2) Paying off the debts that exceed the value of assets.The Fund is regarded as a financial institution and asset management company referred to in the Financial Institution Merger Act, to which Article 15, Article 17, and Article 18 of the Merger Act apply.

本基金得委託存保公司依下列方式處理經營不善金融機構：
一、賠付金融機構負債，並承受其資產。
二、賠付負債超過資產之差額。
本基金視為金融機構合併法中之金融機構及資產管理公司，並適用金融機構合併法第十五條、第十七條及第十八條規定。
