Futures Trading Act Article 10
A futures trading contract shall not be traded on the futures exchange without prior approval from the Competent Authority. Nonetheless, when the Competent Authority approves a currency futures trading contract involving currency exchange between New Taiwan Dollars and any foreign currency, the Competent Authority shall consult with and obtain the consent of the Central Bank of the Republic of China (Taiwan) in advance.The Competent Authority shall grant or deny an application referred to in the preceding paragraph within six months unless extraordinary circumstances exist.

期貨交易契約非經主管機關核准，不得在期貨交易所交易。
但涉及新臺幣與外幣間兌換之貨幣期貨交易契約，主管機關於核准時，應先會商中央銀行同意。
前項主管機關准駁之期間，除有特殊情形外，不得超過六個月。
