Regulations Governing Securities Investment and Futures Trading in Taiwan by Mainland Area Investors Article 8
Where a mainland area investor carries out the registration referred to in paragraph 1 of the preceding article, the TWSE or the TAIFEX may reject the application if any of the following circumstances exists:1. The registration documents or any particular thereof is found to be fraudulent or untrue.2. The registration documents are incomplete or have not been fully filled out, and the applicant has failed, upon notification, to fully provide the missing information within the specified time period.3. The applicant has violated these Regulations or securities or futures trading laws and regulations, and the circumstances are serious.4. The registration is cancelled by the TWSE or the TAIFEX in accordance with securities or futures trading laws and regulations.After a mainland area investor has registered, the TWSE or the TAIFEX may cancel the registration if any of the circumstances specified in the preceding paragraph is discovered.

大陸地區投資人辦理前條第一項之登記，有下列情形之一者，證券交易所或期貨交易所得不予登記：
一、登記書件內容或事項有虛偽不實之情事。
二、登記書件不完備或應記載事項不充分，經通知限期補正，屆期未能完成補正。
三、違反本辦法或證券、期貨交易管理法令，情節重大。
四、依證券或期貨交易管理法令，經證券交易所或期貨交易所註銷登記。
大陸地區投資人經登記後，發現有前項各款情事之一者，證券交易所或期貨交易所得註銷其登記。
一、登記書件內容或事項有虛偽不實之情事。
二、登記書件不完備或應記載事項不充分，經通知限期補正，屆期未能完成補正。
三、違反本辦法或證券、期貨交易管理法令，情節重大。
