Act Governing Relations between the People of the Taiwan Area and the Mainland Area Article 6
To handle the affairs relating to any dealings between the peoples of the Taiwan Area and the Mainland Area, the Executive Yuan may permit in accordance with the principle of reciprocity juristic persons, organizations, or any other institutions of the Mainland Area to establish branches in the Taiwan Area.The matters relating to the granting of permission for the establishment referred to in the preceding paragraph shall be prescribed by law.

為處理臺灣地區與大陸地區人民往來有關之事務，行政院得依對等原則，許可大陸地區之法人、團體或其他機構在臺灣地區設立分支機構。
