Organic Act of the Mainland Affairs Council Article 2
The Council collectively plans, coordinates and handles the following matters:1. Coordination with the respective competent authorities on the matters provided for in the Act Governing the Relations between the People of Taiwan Area and the Mainland Area, and in the Act Governing Relations with Hong Kong and Macao, and review and deliberation of related matters.2. Matters pertaining to the Mainland affairs conducted by local autonomy bodies.3 Matters relating to the authorization and supervision of the Mainland affairs delegated by the government to intermediary organizations for handling.

一、各主管機關辦理臺灣地區與大陸地區人民關係條例及香港澳門關係條例規定事項之協調、審議等。
二、地方自治團體從事大陸事務相關事項。
三、政府委託中介團體處理大陸事務之授權及監督事宜。
