In the event that the PTS Foundation is unable to fulfill the objectives for its establishment due to changed circumstances, it may be dissolved by resolution of the Legislative Yuan. After dissolution, the remaining property shall belong to the national treasury.Article 37 to 43 of the Civil Code shall apply to the liquidation of the PTS Foundation.

中文原文公共電視法第48條

公視基金會因情事變更，致不能達到其設立目的時，得依立法院決議解散之。
解散後其賸餘財產歸屬國庫。
公視基金會之清算，準用民法第三十七條至第四十三條之規定。
