Public Television Act Article 2
In order to realize the objectives of this Law, the Public Television Service Foundation (referred to hereinafter as the "PTS Foundation") shall be established to operate the Public Television Service (referred to hereinafter as "PTS").In addition to the provisions of this Law, the provisions of the Foundations Act, the Civil Code, and regulations concerning communications and related matters are applicable to the establishment, organization, and operation of the PTS Foundation.A budget for the PTS Foundation shall be made by the government as a budgetary donation in accordance with this Act.In addition to the aforementioned donation, the government should discuss adjusting its budget every year in line with the PTS Foundation’s operational needs, annual work plans, and medium and long-term plans.

為實現本法之目的，應成立財團法人公共電視文化事業基金會（以下簡稱公視基金會），經營公共電視臺（以下簡稱電臺）。
公視基金會之成立、組織及營運，除本法另有規定外，適用財團法人法、民法、通訊傳播及其他相關法規之規定。
公視基金會之經費由政府依本法編列預算捐贈。
除前項捐贈外，政府應依公視基金會業務運作需求、年度工作計畫及中長程計畫，每年檢討調整編列預算辦理。
公視基金會之成立、組織及營運，除本法另有規定外，適用財團法人法、民法、通訊傳播及其他相關法規之規定。
