Public Television Act Article 10
The PTS Foundation operations shall include the following:1. Plan and operate television channels2. Produce and distribute broadcast content3. Provide broadcast services that meet the needs of varied groups and locales4. Offer international broadcast services and conduct international exchanges5. Produce, distribute, and promote audiovisual products and publications related to broadcast content6. Train broadcast professionals7. Research, innovate, and promote broadcast technology and content production8. Other operations that contribute to the objectives in Article 1.The PTS Foundation shall establish dedicated channels via which to perform the operations listed in Subparagraph 3 and 4 and shall ensure that its budget and special funds are earmarked.The PTS Foundation shall establish dedicated channels to perform the operations listed in Subparagraph 3 of Paragraph 1 and ensure that their operation remains independent and safeguards the subjectivity of different groups.

三、多元族群及區域需求之傳播服務。
四、國際傳播服務及交流。
五、傳播內容相關影音作品與出版品之製作、發行及推廣。
六、傳播專業人才之養成。
七、傳播技術與內容製作之研究、創新及推廣。
八、其他有助於達成第一條所定目的之業務。
公視基金會設立專屬頻道辦理前項第三款及第四款業務，應保障經費及專款專用。
公視基金會設立專屬頻道辦理第一項第三款業務，應確保其營運之族群主體性及獨立性。
