Cultural Heritage Preservation Act Article 104
Anyone who commits an offence under Paragraph 1 of the preceding Article shall restore the damaged portion to its original condition, or compensate for such damage if it is impossible or very difficult to restore.The competent authority may restore a monument under the preceding on behalf of the person who did not perform the obligation to do so, and collect the restoration fees from that person.

有前條第一項各款行為者，其損害部分應回復原狀；不能回復原狀或回復顯有重大困難者，應賠償其損害。
前項負有回復原狀之義務而不為者，得由主管機關代履行，並向義務人徵收費用。
