Act Governing the Appointment of Personnel from the Mongolia and Tibet Regions Article 1
Personnel from the Mongolia and Tibet regions may be appointed as a senior rank, junior rank or elementary rank civil service pursuant to the Act. Priority in appointment shall be given to tribal individuals from the Mongolia and Tibet regions who have proficiency in Chinese writing and speaking.

蒙藏邊區人員得依本條例之規定，任用為簡任、薦任、委任職公務員。
前項任用人員，應以蒙藏邊區土著人民，通曉國文、國語者儘先任用。
