Public Nuisance Dispute Mediation Act Article 48
The Environmental Protection Administration, Executive Yuan, and special municipality, county(city) governments shall install dedicated personnel to perform the following functions.I. handle public nuisance petitionsII. conduct necessary investigations and provide guidance and recommendations for handling public nuisance petitionsIII. provide guidance to petitioners regarding the procedures for applying for mediation or arbitration pursuant to the provisions of this ActRural township, urban township, city and district public offices may, when necessary, install dedicated personnel to perform the functions in the foregoing paragraph.
中文原文 公害糾紛處理法第48條
行政院環境保護署、直轄市及縣（市）政府應置專責人員，執行左列各款事務︰一、處理公害陳情。
二、為處理公害陳情所必要之調查、指導及建議。
三、指導陳情人依本法程序申請調處或裁決。
鄉（鎮、市、區）公所，得視需要置專責人員，處理前項各款事務。
