Toxic and Concerned Chemical Substances Control Act Article 53
If a handler does not comply with an order by the competent authority to suspend work or business pursuant to this Act, the responsible person shall be subject to less than 3 years of imprisonment, detention and/or a fine of from NT$200,000 to NT$5 million.If a handler does not comply with an order by the competent authority to stop activities, the responsible person shall be subject to less than 1 year of imprisonment, detention and/or a fine of from NT$200,000 to NT$1 million.

運作人不遵行主管機關依本法所為停工或停業之命令者，處負責人三年以下有期徒刑、拘役或科或併科新臺幣二十萬元以上五百萬元以下罰金。
運作人不遵行主管機關依本法所為停止作為之命令，處負責人一年以下有期徒刑、拘役或科或併科新臺幣二十萬元以上一百萬元以下罰金。
