Long-Term Care Services Act Article 7

The competent authority shall convene a committee chaired by its head, inviting experts and scholars in long-term care (LTC), representatives of relevant civil organizations and institutions, service user representatives, and representatives of the various competent authorities for specific functions, to coordinate, study, deliberate, and provide advice on matters related to long-term care services, including the development of the national LTC workforce, fee collection and reimbursement, personnel remuneration, and supervision and assessment.Among the members referenced in the preceding paragraph, representatives of relevant experts and scholars, civil organizations and institutions, and service users shall constitute not less than two-thirds of the total membership; service user representatives and members of any single gender shall each constitute not less than one-third; and at least one representative of Indigenous peoples or one expert or scholar knowledgeable in Indigenous cultures shall be included.
