People with Disabilities Rights Protection Act Article 9
The central and municipal or county (city) competent authorities and the competent authorities in charge of specific services shall organize units or appoint officers to handle the affairs concerning the rights and interests of people with disabilities exclusively. The number of the units or officers shall be determined according to the actual requirement for providing the services.The business related to the welfare services of people with disabilities shall be handled by selected professionals.

主管機關及各目的事業主管機關應置專責人員辦理本法規定相關事宜；其人數應依業務增減而調整之。
