People with Disabilities Rights Protection Act Article 25
To reinforce health and medical care services for people with disabilities, the municipal and county (city) competent authorities in charge of health shall, according to the number of each category of people with disabilities and their need, establish or encourage the establishment of medical and rehabilitation facilities／institutions or nursing home, to provide medical care, rehabilitation, assistive deviceservices, day care and home care services, etc..Regulations on encouraging the care facilities／institutions and services mentioned above for people with disabilities, shall be prescribed by the central competent authority in charge of health.

為加強身心障礙者之保健醫療服務，直轄市、縣（市）衛生主管機關應依據各類身心障礙者之人口數及需要，設立或獎助設立醫療復健機構及護理之家，提供醫療復健、輔具服務、日間照護及居家照護等服務。
前項所定機構及服務之獎助辦法，由中央衛生主管機關定之。
