Amendments to the Regulations on Selection and Training of Professional Workers Providing Welfare Services for People with Disabilities Article 7
A home care supervisor shall meet one of the following qualifications:1. Having passed the social worker certification exam.2. Graduated from a department or specialty related to social work, medical treatment and nursing, occupational therapy, physical therapy, nutrition, pharmacy, public health, or elderly care in a college or a university.3. Hold the qualifications of the social worker examination and have at least one year experience in welfare service or care for the elderly and people with disabilities (if not graduating from a department or specialty listed in the preceding paragraph).4. Graduated from a department or specialty related to nursing and elderly care in a senior high school, and have at least three years of experience in care for the elderly and people with disabilities.5. Have worked as a full-time caregiver for at least five years.6. Hold a home care supervisor certificate of orientation training.

居家服務督導員應具下列資格之一：
一、社會工作師考試及格。
二、大專校院社會工作、醫學、護理、職能治療、物理治療、營養、藥學、公共衛生及老人照顧相關科、系、組、所、學位學程畢業。
三、大專校院非屬前款所列相關科、系、組、所、學位學程畢業，具專門職業及技術人員高等考試社會工作師考試應考資格，且具一年以上老人、身心障礙者福利或照顧服務相關工作經驗。
四、高級中等以上學校護理、老人照顧相關科、組畢業，且具三年以上老人、身心障礙者照顧服務經驗。
五、曾專職或專任照顧服務員五年以上。
六、領有居家服務督導員職前訓練結業證明書。

三、大專校院非屬前款所列相關科、系、組、所、學位學程畢業，具專門職業及技術人員高等考試社會工作師考試應考資格，且具一年以上老人、身心障礙者福利或照顧服務相關工作經驗。
四、高級中等以上學校護理、老人照顧相關科、組畢業，且具三年以上老人、身心障礙者照顧服務經驗。
五、曾專職或專任照顧服務員五年以上。
六、領有居家服務督導員職前訓練結業證明書。
