Amendments to the Regulations on Selection and Training of Professional Workers Providing Welfare Services for People with Disabilities Article 12
An orientation and mobility trainer shall meet one of the following qualifications:1. Holds a technician certificate for orientation and mobility trainers.2. Holds a certificate of completion for training in orientation and mobility instruction.3. Work experience of five years or more in orientation and mobility instruction in an institution, organization, or special education school that provides services related to support for the visually impaired(experience accumulated prior to the enforcement of the amendment of these Regulations on July 11, 2012).4. Graduation from a junior college or institution of higher education and work experience of two years or more in orientation and mobility instruction in an institution, organization, or special education school that provides services related to support for the visually impaired(experience accumulated prior to the enforcement of the amendment of these Regulations on July 11, 2012).

定向行動訓練員應具下列資格之一：
一、領有定向行動訓練職類技術士證。
二、領有定向行動訓練員訓練結業證明書。
三、本辦法中華民國一百零一年七月十一日修正施行前，曾於視覺功能障礙服務相關機構、團體或特殊教育學校實際從事定向行動訓練工作五年以上。
四、本辦法一百零一年七月十一日修正施行前，大專校院以上畢業，曾於視覺功能障礙服務相關機構、團體或特殊教育學校實際從事定向行動訓練工作二年以上。
一、領有定向行動訓練職類技術士證。
二、領有定向行動訓練員訓練結業證明書。
三、本辦法中華民國一百零一年七月十一日修正施行前，曾於視覺功能障礙服務相關機構、團體或特殊教育學校實際從事定向行動訓練工作五年以上。
四、本辦法一百零一年七月十一日修正施行前，大專校院以上畢業，曾於視覺功能障礙服務相關機構、團體或特殊教育學校實際從事定向行動訓練工作二年以上。
