Pharmaceutical Affairs Act Article 102
Any physician having dispensation facilities as specified in this Act may, for the purpose of medical treatment, dispense drugs by himself/herself based on his/her own prescriptions.After two years of the implementation of the National Health Insurance, the provision of the preceding paragraph shall be enforceable only in the remote areas where practicing pharmaceutical personnel are not available as announced by the central or municipal competent health authorities or in the case of urgent need of medical treatment services.

醫師以診療為目的，並具有本法規定之調劑設備者，得依自開處方，親自為藥品之調劑。
全民健康保險實施二年後，前項規定以在中央或直轄市衛生主管機關公告無藥事人員執業之偏遠地區或醫療急迫情形為限。
