“Professionals with vocational certification” refers to those who passed the senior examinations of professional and technical personnel from the Examination Yuan, and received required certificates. “Professionals with technical certification” refers to those who obtained technician skills certificates issued by the central labor competent authority or those who obtained equally authentic technician certificates issued by professional certifying institutions that are approved by the central labor competent authority.

本辦法所稱專門職業人員，指經考試院專門職業及技術人員高等考試及格，並領有證書者；所稱技術證照人員，指領有中央勞動主管機關所核發之技能檢定之技術士證者，或經其認可之專業認證機構所核發之具有技術士證同等效力之技能職類證書者。
