Cosmetics Good Manufacturing Practice Regulations Article 39
The quality of water used in production shall be regulated as follows:1. The water treatment system shall supply a defined quality of water.2. The water quality shall be monitored or verified through water quality testing or process parameters.3. The water treatment system shall permit sanitation.4. The material used for the water treatment equipment shall be selected to ensure the water quality is not affected; the settlement of the water treatment equipment shall avoid any water stagnation or the risk of contamination.

化粧品製造場所之生產用水，應遵守下列規定：
一、水處理系統提供符合特定規範之生產用水。
二、水質經製程參數監控或水質檢驗確認。
三、採用進行消毒之水處理系統。
四、水處理設備採用確保水質不受影響之材料；其設置，避免水體滯留與污染之風險。
