Regulations Governing Management of Infectious Biological Materials Article 14
The term of the designated personnel mentioned in Subparagraph 4 of the preceding article shall not exceed three years; upon expiration of the term or any change in the designated personnel, a new designation shall be made.Only the BSAT officer and his/her alternate, and designated personnel mentioned in the preceding paragraph are authorized to possess, store, use, dispose of, and import and export BSAT.When a person mentioned in the preceding paragraph falls under any of the following circumstances, the entity shall immediately terminate the person’s authorization granted under the preceding paragraph and report the matter to the central competent authority for record:1. Has seriously violated biosafety or biosecurity management regulations;2. Is suspected of participating in a domestic or foreign bioterrorism activity; or3. Has committed other related crimes.

前條第四款之被指定人員，每次指定任期最長為三年；任期屆滿或有異動時，應重新指定。
管制性生物材料主管與其代理人及前項被指定人員，始具持有、保存、使用、處分及輸出入管制性生物材料之權限。
前項各類人員，有下列情形之一者，設置單位應立即終止其前項權限，並報中央主管機關備查：
一、違反生物安全或生物保全管理規定，情節重大。
二、涉嫌參加國內、外生物恐怖活動。
三、其他相關犯罪行為。
管制性生物材料主管與其代理人及前項被指定人員，始具持有、保存、使用、處分及輸出入管制性生物材料之權限。
前項各類人員，有下列情形之一者，設置單位應立即終止其前項權限，並報中央主管機關備查：
一、違反生物安全或生物保全管理規定，情節重大。
二、涉嫌參加國內、外生物恐怖活動。
三、其他相關犯罪行為。
