Regulations Governing Awards for the Control of Communicable Diseases Article 5
Medical personnel who, on their own initiative, report (notify) communicable diseases (their sources) they have detected and have such reports verified by the competent authority shall be awarded reporting bonuses. The standards for the provision of such bonuses are as follows:1. Cases of Category 1 or Category 5 Communicable Diseases or biological agent attacks or incidents: NT$ 10,000 per case.2. The first domestic case of dengue fever, chikungunya fever, West Nile fever, or Zika virus infection in the county (city) during its peak season of the year: NT$ 4,000.3. Imported cases of dengue fever, chikungunya fever, or Zika virus infection: NT$ 2,500 per case.4. Domestic or imported cases of the following communicable diseases:1) Cases of enterohemorrhagic E. coli infection, cholera, measles, rubella, congenital rubella syndrome or neonatal tetanus: NT$ 3,000 per case.2) Cases of acute flaccid paralysis: NT$ 1,000 per case; if the case is confirmed as poliomyelitis, an additional NT$ 4,000 will be given.Laboratory personnel for the cases mentioned in Subparagraph 1 of the preceding paragraph shall be awarded NT$ 1,000.

醫事人員發現傳染病（源），主動通報（知）並經主管機關證實者，發給通報獎金，其基準如下：
一、第一類、第五類傳染病或生物病原攻擊事件病例：每例新臺幣一萬元。
二、登革熱、屈公病、西尼羅熱、茲卡病毒感染症全縣（市）地區當年度流行季本土病例之首例：新臺幣四千元。
三、登革熱、屈公病、茲卡病毒感染症境外移入病例：每例新臺幣二千五百元。
四、下列傳染病之本土或境外移入病例：
（一）腸道出血性大腸桿菌感染症、霍亂、麻疹、德國麻疹、先天性德國麻疹症候群或新生兒破傷風病例：每例新臺幣三千元。
（二）急性無力肢體麻痺病例：每例新臺幣一千元；經證實為小兒麻痺症者，加發新臺幣四千元。
前項第一款病例之檢驗人員，發給新臺幣一千元。
