Regulations Governing Quarantine at Ports Article 18
When there is fear that conveyances may transmit communicable diseases, quarantine authority may perform isolation measures on the conveyances, personnel on board.Conveyances in the preceding Paragraph, prior to the permission of the quarantine authority, the passengers and the goods they carry shall be placed under custody, nobody else and nothing else can be in contact with them: passengers that have been removed to isolation sites on land, shall be treated the same.If the conveyances in the preceding Paragraph are ships, if they refuse to accept isolation measures, the shipmaster shall inform the quarantine authority in writing, hang Q-flag and depart the port immediately.

運輸工具有散播傳染病之虞時，檢疫單位得對運輸工具及載運之人員、物品進行隔離措施。
前項運輸工具未經檢疫單位許可前，其載運之人員、物品應予留置，不得接觸其他人員及物品；其人員經遷移至陸上之隔離場所者，亦同。
前項運輸工具為船舶者，其不願接受隔離措施時，船長應以書面通知檢疫單位後，懸掛檢疫信號，即行出港。
