Mental Health Act Article 62
During the period of emergency placement, if a severe patient has no appointed lawyer as a legal agent, the designated psychiatric institution shall report to the central competent authority to provide necessary legal aid.The central competent authority may entrust the Legal Aid Foundation or other private organizations to handle the report reception and aid services specified in the preceding Paragraph.

嚴重病人緊急安置期間，未經委任律師為代理人者，應由指定精神醫療機構通報中央主管機關提供必要之法律扶助。
