Regulations Governing Management of Designated Psychiatric Care Institutions Article 3

Where an application referred to in Paragraph 1 of the preceding Article is reviewed and approved, the Local Competent Authority shall declare it.The designated period of validity referred to in the preceding paragraph shall be three (3) years. If an extension is necessary, an application shall be made three (3) months prior to the expiration. The approved extension shall be granted and is limited to a three-year term.The rules set forth in the preceding article shall apply mutatis mutandis to the qualifications, documents, materials, and procedures required for the extension application.A designated psychiatric institution may continue to provide the services set forth in Article 5 hereof before the Local Competent Authority completes the review procedure for the extension referred to in Paragraph 2.The extension application is approved by the Local Competent Authority, and the extension period of the designated psychiatric institution shall commence from the day following the expiration of the previous designation period.
