Enforcement Rules of the Physicians Act Article 4
The required subjects and corresponding number of weeks or hours of the internship, as prescribed in Article 2 of the Act, are as follows:1. Internal Medicine: Not less than 12 weeks or 480 hours2. Surgery: Not less than 12 weeks or 480 hours3. Obstetrics and Gynecology: Not less than 4 weeks or 160 hours4. Pediatrics: Not less than 4 weeks or 160 hours5. At least three other elective subjects: Not less than 2 weeks or 80 hours for each subjectThe total number of weeks or hours for the subjects listed in the preceding paragraph shall not be less than 48 weeks or 1,920 hours.

本法第二條所定實習，其科別及週數或時數，規定如下：
一、內科：十二週或四百八十小時以上。
二、外科：十二週或四百八十小時以上。
三、婦產科：四週或一百六十小時以上。
四、兒科：四週或一百六十小時以上。
五、其他選修科別至少三科，每科二週或八十小時以上。
前項週數或時數，合計應達四十八週或一千九百二十小時以上。
